2016 high-prospect Thon Maker, playing for a "Team USA", topscored in the game lost 77-67 to France U20 at Adidas Eurocamp, Treviso (Ita) with 22 pts (10/17 FG).
Other good performers on the much younger American team, SF Jaylen Brown with 15 pts (+4 blocks) and PF Carlton Bragg with 9. Both are 2015-class, Brown is one of the invitees at the USA U18 team trials.
French star "Mam" Jaiteh had 18 pts and 11 reb for the winners.

Thon Maker, named the NPBA Top 100 camp MVP, won't reclassify and will play another HS season with his brother Matur.
Sudanese-Australian centre Thon Maker, who recently announced that he'll remain with the graduating Class of 2016, has been named the Most Valuable Player of this year's NBPA Top 100 Camp. PF Wenyen Gabriel committed to Kentucky and will join other big men Tai Wynyard and Sacha Killeya-Jones. Gabriel had an excellent summer season and jumped from #84 to #23 in ESPN class rankings. Originating from Sudan, he played at Adidas Nations for team Africa and finished 1st overall in rpg (14.7) and 8th in ppg (17.7).

Top 2016 prospect Harry Giles announced he committed to Duke.
In the meantime Giles will miss his 2015-16 HS season due to a partially torn right ACL. He already tore left ACL, MCL and meniscus when playing for U16 USA Basketball in 2013, missing his soph season.

#1 nationally ranked team (by MaxPreps) Chino Hills HS, CA, is led by PG Lonzo Ball, who is considered by many as one of the top prospects in his class. A UCLA signee, Lonzo is joined in the team by his younger brother, SG LiAngelo (2017 class).

Chino Hills was on fire in attack, winning 125-99 over Rufus King in MaxPreps Holidays Classic QF, behind the scoring of Ball bros.
- Lonzo, a senior, finished with 26 pts and 13 assists
- Junior LiAngelo poured in 27
- Freshman LaMelo was the high scorer with 32 and 6 threes in the 3rd quarter.
All are committed to UCLA.
