Agree, first big game, with homecourt advantage Tunis has some chances, and tomorrow's game Senegal - Angola is also must to view game!

Great 1st half both teams, top-euroleague level! Mejri looks like great Pharaon, 2 3s for him against deep 2 wild 3s Oguchi! Laval dont know what to do against Salah in paint, Salah just better, perfect defense of Tunis in first half.

Great decision to put on such an important game two judges from the Euroleague. No questions on judging.

Anyone know how many seats the sports Palace in Tunis? And how many fans go to the games home team?

The Nigerian bench looked better than the their stars, good game for M. Gbinije(10p), B. Uzoh(13p). Al-Farouq played fine in 1 half, got a couple of killing threes, where was he in the 2nd half I don't understand, he did not become the leader, which would have led the team in a difficult moment. Laval lost his micro-match Mejri without chances. Roll(16p+4reb+3ass) and Mejri(24p+7reb+3st+3blocks) played their best game of the tournament.

I'm surprised all the core guys for Angola are still playing. Though they aren't as dominant as before anymore.

What kind of a team is Tunisia?

It seems that Cape Verde has lost their pg B. Rudolph, he suffered the injury in the last game against Algeria and has not played today.

Cape Verde was already thin, it is going to be tough if Rudolph can't play.

Classic Afrobasket game between Mozambique and Morocco, Mozambique seems to be better than in the past.

Where in the world is Marques Houtman? I was hoping CV is going to bring in Ryan Gomes and Walter Tavares. If they can make it to the next stage (Olympic Qs), this two should really provide depth. Isnt there another PG/SG somewhere in Cape Cod these days with a CV passport?

I really like all that hustling anf fighting from Angola but the team lacks that x-factor that guys like Kikas Gomes and Olimpio Cipriano had in the past. Seems like a Team B to me, even though they are always keeping games tight. High basketball IQ makes up for other shortcomings.

WOW, what a finish! Bravo! Great thriller. You should watch the last 30 seconds in the replay!

The second day Afrobasket pleased with quality basketball! Dieng played all 40 minutes, 24p+9reb.

Maybe this guy has Cape Verdean eligibility:

Dana Barros is probably available too.

Well, the connection to CV should be there for Jordan: http://www.corsairathletics.com/info.../Brian_Rudolph

The danger of single elimination, especially when no one is eliminated from the previous round. Would have been a colossal upset if Tunisia went and Angola went down on the same day.

Stunning end to both the Tunisia and Angola games. This is one of the most thrilling zone tournaments I've seen in years. The games are so competitive and the quality of play has been excellent.

I bet Khalfi wont be sleeping the next days, just thinking over and over again about how he failed when it mattered most. First he kept the ball instead of passing it to run the down the clock, then making only one out of two FT two just to double-team Roll in the very last play of Tunisia instead of staying with his player...last tournament for him at this age thats for sure.
