If Paras ends up at UC Irvine, he's more than likely to see Chris Tang than Yuta in the Big West Conference.Originally posted by gideonNot sure why all on here got salty when the Serbian coach said Gilas lacked any real quality. I mean isn't that glaringly obvious.

UCLA is in the Pac-12, while GW is in the A-10. It all depends on scheduling, perhaps it could happen in the pre-season or invitational tournament. The last chance would be in the NCAA tournament aka "March Madness".

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - GW men's basketball freshman Yuta Watanabe collected his second Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor of the season as the conference office announced the final weekly awards of 2014-15 on Monday.
Watanabe led GW to a 2-0 final week of the A-10 regular season with a team-best 13.5 points on 53 percent (8-15) shooting, including 64 percent (7-11) behind the arc, along with 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
The 6-foot-8 forward from Kagawa, Japan, hit seven three-pointers en route to a career-high 21 points in an 87-65 rout of UMass on Saturday. The seven threes tied the second-most in a game in program history and matched the second-most by a conference player and most by an A-10 freshman this season.
Watanabe is the first GW player to earn multiple Rookie of the Week awards in the same season since eventual A-10 All-Rookie Team selection Lasan Kromah earned three in 2009-10. He is also the sixth A-10 freshman to earn multiple Rookie of the Week accolades this season
