All-Star game rosters have been completed with the coaches choice. Event is scheduled July 19.

Both Ogwumike sisters have been selected and they will be again opposed in the game.

Other first time choices are Briann January and Jessica Breland.

Shoni Schimmel and Chiney Ogwumike are the lonely rookies, Erika de Souza the only no-US player selected.

That was the best all-star game that I have watched. East tops West 125-124 in OT. Awesome shooting by Shoni Schimmel aka Showtime Shoni. 29 points and MVP of the game. Well done.

Quite amazing. Schimmel is not even a starter for Atlanta, averaging something like 7 ppg, and she was voted to the All-Star game by her followers finishing as top scorer and MVP (first rookie ever ?)! Btw, it was the first All-Star game going to OT.

          Amazing performances in yesterday's games.

Despite career highs of rookie Odyssey Sims (39 pts) and Skylar Diggins (34) Tulsa was "shocked" by San Antonio 95-93. Stars were led by another rookie Kayla McBride with 23 pts.

Minnesota beat Atlanta in 2OT 112-108, behind another awesome performance of Maya Moore, who scored 48 pts, her Lynx record. She also had time to collect 10 reb. Lindsay Whalen almost recorded a double-double for the winners with 26 pts + 9 ast.

Britt Griner had 5 blocks in Mercury win over Storm.

San Antonio Stars Becky Hammon will retire at the end of the current season (her 15th, she's 7th overall in scoring).

At the same time, SA signed Spanish young center Astou Ndour to a rookie contract. Ndour has recently won the silver with Spain at the U20 EC.

Elena Delle Donne hopefully should be back on July 31, after more than one month absence.
