Quite complex move by Sun. They traded former MVP Tina Charles to NYL, obtaining 1st round pick Alyssa Thomas, 2nd-year center Kelsey Bone (who has recently won the EuroLeague with Galatasaray of Turkey) and the 1st round selection of 2015. Besides Ogwumike, Sun chose guard Chelsea Gray (likely to play in the 2015 season) and fw DeNesha Stallworth.
In another trade, Mystics sent their top Fw Crystal Langhorne to Seattle Storm for 1st round pick Bria Hartley and 2nd year fw Tianna Hawkins.
Two young Aussies among the drafted, Carley Mijovic and Stephanie Talbot and Ukrainan Inga Orekhova of South Florida, a surprisingly high pick.
Among the undrafted, Haley Peters, Jasmine Lister, Aaryn Ellenberg, Katherine Plouffe, Karla Gilbert, Artemis Spanou, Samarie Walker.

Looks like Sun #1 round draft Chelsea Gray might play at some point during the 2014 season.

          Congrats for Chiney!
Her sister (Nneke) also got drafted as the no. 1 pick a couple of years ago and now they are the first group of siblings to be drafted as no. 1 draft picks (In NBA and WNBA) and 2nd if we include the NFL with Peyton and Eli Manning...

Lizzie Cambage will sit out the 2014 season to train with the national team.
Tulsa center Liz Cambage will stay in Australia and train for the FIBA World Championships instead of playing for the Shock this season.

Atlanta Dream made another move for hopes on being a contender. They acquired all-star Swin Cash from the Chicago Sky in exchange for Courtney Clements in addition to Atlanta getting a 3rd round draft pick while Chicago gets a 1st round draft pick.

The first pre season games are underway and Tulsa Shock is 2-0 (both wins vs San Antonio Stars) led by Skylar Diggins 25 and 30-point performance.
Washington Mystics too are 2-0 (vs Indiana Fever) with Tianna Hawkins and Jelena Milovanovic (Srb) topping the winners and Fever's rookie Natasha Howard scoring in double digits in both games.
Finally, Connecticut Sun also went today 2-0 (vs NY Liberty) with 16 points of Chiney Ogwumike, another rookie.

I am liking this WNBA pre-season tourney that Lynx won after beating the Chicago Skye. Asia Taylor and Maya Moore provided the inside - outside combo in this one.
