Stanford upsets Kansas as the go to guys like Wiggins and Ellis struggled heavily in the offense. They really missed Embiid's production.

For the Jayhawks, this is 2008 all over again where they got knocked out in the sweet 16.

Dayton - Stanford now tips off. Both had blazed their way into the S16 with a string of upset trails.

No one is shooting well for Baylor and they look slow to react on defense as Wisconsin have a good lead 31-16 at the start of the 2nd half.

Good fight by UCLA, but Florida's defense showed that it can withstand adversity. UCLA's starters did the best they can but this one belongs to Florida as they advance into the Elite Eight.

Arizona over SDSU as that rally sparked by Nick Johnson spurned momentum. This is redemption for Johnson as he had an awful first half, but played good when his team was down.

Tennessee fought but Michigan escaped from an almost upset. A good rally by the Vols as they bow out of the elite 8 albeit a controversial call by the end game. Michigan almost collapsed here.

Meanwhile, UCONN deferred to DeAndre Daniels and the latter delivered them to a final four appearance. Shabazz Napier despite shooting well, was kind enough to give the ball to Daniels. Sterline performance there.

Michigan State escaping a potential upset from Virginia. Amazing that Virginia was not routed as the offense was limited to Joe Harris and Malcolm Brogdon, who did not shoot very well but thrived in free-throws. Harris shot a bit better but forced a couple of threes in this game. Brandon Dawson of the Spartans was all hustle, wingman turned into bigman for this game.

Doug McDermott selected PoY by AP.
Wichita State Gregg Marshall is Coach of the Year.
Doug McDermott, who finished his career at Creighton as college basketball's fifth-leading scorer, is a near-unanimous selection as The Associated Press' player of the year.

Good first half for Shabazz Napier as they raced to an early lead midway into the first half, but defensive lapses and unforced errors allowed Kentucky to mount their pressure counter-offensive. Kentucky shot poor in the first half but since have hustled to get back into the game. 35-31 UCONN.

Congratulations to UCONN for winning over Kentucky. That makes it the 4th NCAA title for the school. With this, Shabazz Napier could be NBA draft bound.
