Kalnietis got robbed badly. He led the silver medal team in points, assists (1st in eurobasket), was third in rebounds but still was left out of the all-tournament team just because a player from the host had to make it. Weird.

it wasnt fair to put Dragic instead of Kalnietis...So if you put 5th place dragic so atleast
have courage to put 3 gurards in all team lineup...Kalnietis was our best player in entire tournament and our team won silvel and he didnt make all tournament team was a joke...When lithuania was 5th in eurobasket2011 we didnt put our player,because all players were from top4...

Blame it on the journalists instead of the hosts. They probably finished the voting at half time already and needless to say majority are completely clueless about Kalnietis, but saw Kleiza's two big time triples vs. Bosnia and his performance vs. Croatia. If Dragič has stollen a place there from anyone, he has stolen it from Batum, Ajinca or Diaw...

Didn't they just try to pick a dominant player per top5 country for each position ?
Kleiza was the only PF they had while Kalnietis was running against 2 other guards, including the MVP. So it's kinda comprehensible Kalnietis is the one who got cut. It's not like it really matters anyways.

True eurobasket2013 team should have looked like this:

Parker,Kalnietis,Bogdanovich,Diaw,Gasol

all lithuanians agrees on that Kalnietis was way better in this tournament than kleiza,but he didnt make a team just because slovenian leader would made in that position,thats really sucks and Mantas didnt deserve that.Nobody understand how come kleiza made team and kalnietis not.Its mistery for lithuanian fans...in shows if you are not well known you wont get what you deserved.Similair case was with Macijauskas in 2003 he came from nowhere and he was our team leader by points in golden champ and didnt make all tournament just because some of nba star of that position would made it and they put stombergas instead of him in other position.Same thing happens here with no Kalnietis and with Kleiza.LInas is our main scorer and offencem weapon,but Mantas was our teams heart in this tournament.
