Rafael Perez is your typical local star.. A very good player but maybe not good enough to have opportunities overseas...
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
    1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

he has improved since the last time he played in PR. Better shooter, good on defense. Useful player.

Yes he has the skills around the hoop but again maybe he is present naman in the most crucial moments of the game against Brazil but not as as aggressive that a guy like what you've said with a good skillset like him should have done..

Ewing probably isn't fully healthy yet.

              he is NOT healthy
playing with pain. He leaved the game and went straight to the locker room in the 3th quarter and returned on the 4th

Argentina will remember that last dunk by Balkman... it was bit disrespectful as Puerto Rico already won the game and no need to show up Argentina...

Even PR coach was mad... Argentina vs. PR finals would be very interesting...

Balkman has been PR's X factor in this tourney. He is a mismatch all the opposing centers since he has been the 5 man for PR. He will always be quicker than most and height differential is negated by his athleticsm. I do hope he has matured and learned from what he did here in the Philippines. he is a very talented player when he gets his head in it.
