Just like the DR a few days ago...amazing how you good you look when you shoot 14-21 on threes. Still a very ordinary Argentina team IMO, but they probably just need one more win to qualify.

Jamaica's guards never ever ever get to the rim when they penetrate in the halfcourt.

Group X and Group Y will crossover right? Facing all the teams on the other group? Then the top 4 will qualify?

Which means a Canada victory later will be significant if they want to end up on the Top 4.

And Brazil goes home winless, I might have to put bold marks in my sig. Never have I been so wrong about a team.

Brasil loss to Jamaica, first time Brasil don't go to a WC, first time that Jamaica have a victory in a Americas Tournament.

Tied at 76, Caio fouls Akeem Scott 20 feet from the basket with two seconds left on the shot clock and Scott hits the winning free throws. Fitting end to the tournament for Brazil.

Jamaica just a few baskets from being 3-1.

What a shame for Brazil... This should serve as a lesson for the federation, NT staff and all the superstars. Great job for sucking so much.

Ouch. Goodbye Brasil! Hats off to Jamaica!

Now they will wish they had Barbosa and Splitter... 3rd World Cup casualty after China and Tunisia.

Good win for Jamaica. It certainly helps with the growth of their program from this point forward.

Even though Brazil was without a number of key players, my question is, where is the depth in the Brazilian program? There needs to be some serious soul searching by the Brazilian federation in analyzing how talent is fostered and developed in that country. No disrespect to Jamaica, but there's no way in hell given the population size, financial resources, and long legacy of Brazilian basketball they should lose to an upstart like this. Brazil is three years away from hosting the Olympic tournament and they have nothing to build upon moving forward. What a disappointing collapse.

Nicholson hits three straight three-pointers. Last year in the NBA he attempted 486 shots and none of them were threes.
