This would be a very tough team to beat if they play together. Fantasy lineup!

They should make a FIBA All-STar Tournament where each continental all-star team will battle each other for the prize of who is really the best continent.
          That should be exciting!

bharami should have been named as best SF. Lin played very well in d preliminaries and played exceptionally vs phi in first round and vs china in qf but he was a major no-show in semis and battle for 3rd. but i guess, him leading his team in crippling d great wall of china clinched it for him.

Me, too...the no. 1 shooter of CT was gone sour in their last 2 games!

I would have preferred Quincy Davis and Nikkhah Bahrami over Sahakian (or as the commentators said, Sakakian) and Lin Chih-Chieh. Quincy Davis made Chinese Taipei what it was, in addition to his pretty monster stats, including shooting an absurd 70+%. Or Kamrani, Kim, Douthit, Davis, Haddadi.

In 2011, Marcus Douthit led the tournament in SCORING and REBOUNDING and a led the Philippines to a 4th place finish. But was not given the award. I think, they choose homegrown players.

They used to do that in the late 1990s and early 2000s... they got the FIBA All-Stars visiting top basketball countries to play the league all-stars of those countries (e.g. 1997 Korean All-Star Extravaganza, 2000 Philippines All-Star Extravaganza)... Young Fadi El Khatib (Lebanon) and Romel Adducul (PHL) were part of those all-star team...

I don't know why they stop it though... probably generated less money in some countries...
