India has definitely improved, not a contender yet but on the right track under Scott Fleming. In previous years they looked like amateurs, now at least their defense looks at least OK. Not great, considering it's Iran, but there is at least the good intensity and decent organization.

Satnam Singh Bhamara is really not that bad as Mr. Basketball always would have us believe. Not the next Haddadi but Ha Seung-jin's level is definitely not out of reach. Maybe he's better already....

I thought India had a good first quarter, they tried to remain competitive by beating Iran at its own game by increasing speed in transition.
They have decent front court players. Seemed like they lost their focus and motivation in the second quarter.

Extremely boring game. Quincy Davis 0 points 3 turnovers 1 brick against super-weak HK frontcourt. Nobody expecting HK to win but they definitely look stronger than expected considering that their top 2 players from EABA Qualifiers aren't here. I wonder whether they could win a game in this tournament? Jordan? Philippines? Bahrain? India? Probably not. But hey they'll finish 12th even if they lose all games. That's pretty good. Saudi Arabia is extremely jealous.
