His name is on the list... But that doesn't mean he'll be selected for the final roster or agree to play with the NT

Fadi's name is mentioned... Vogel is 41 and still playing quite well in the Lebanese league... But he's past his prime...

I agree that Vogel was the best naturalized player ever for Lebanon considering the accomplishments we had with him... But this is not the end of the world... Lebanon over the last 20 years has become a country with basketball culture and a huge basketball following... the level of the league these last couple of years has been at it's best and the level of the foreigners and money being spent is at an all time high...
And now with the ban gone, and hopefully without any politics interfering in basketball again, Lebanon can slowly regain its' position as one of the best teams in Asia.

Lets refrain from using profane language sir. We're suppose to behave like professionals here
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

But it might be interpreted negatively by some, Lebanese posters in particular. It's similar to being in a crowd & someone shouts "bull_hit" becoz he was upset on something else. While that expression wasn't meant to offend anyone in the crowd, one can't expect a positive reaction from the crowd.

I hope the Lebanese federation can care about the NT just like your Iranian federation is doing.

Getting ready with Riyadi to play the Lebanese league finals which start tomorrow vs. Sagesse. He has recovered from his injury and is ready to have an impact.. Pic from yesterday's practice... The mask Ahmad is wearing makes him breathe more heavily just like he's running in the mountains where there's less oxygen... This will improve his stamina and he'll be able to play at high level for more minutes without getting exhausted quickly.

    8-Daniel Faris
    9-Bassel Bawji
    10-Bachir Ammoury
    11-Jean Abdelnour

Omar El Turk might be a good shooter but I don't think he deserves to be called to the NT. Moreover we should start giving younger players more chances on the NT since Omar is already 33 years old... I would select a player like Amir Saoud (24) or Wael Arakji (20) instead...
As for the naturalized player I would go for a center especially since it's not 100% that Julian will join the NT and we do have a problem on the center position.

I also think one of the Tabet brothers deserves a chance instead of Bachir Ammoury on the NT.

Marc Ghafari is a nice player but is he good enough to play with the NT? Rodrigue Akl is still the better option in my opinion for now...

Matt Freije unfortunately has retired.I don`t know if he will come back to the NT but he can help us since he is a very good 3 point shooter if he is in shape.

He is too young to retire? In which country does he leave right now?

Fadi - Vogel - Fahed were the cornerstone of this team always.Unfortunately we cant replace any 3 of them. Ali mahmoud, rodrigue akl are good in lebanese league...but way below fahed level on international level.

Vogel , we cant naturliaze anyone as good as him.We were too lucky with him.You wont find a center, who can protect the paint and at the same time scores 3 points like a shooting guard.Woods is not Vogel level.

Fadi, well I dont think we will ever have lebanese player on his level.

Then there are some names thrown here, like khazzouh and freiji..with this players we will never win a thing because they are not passionate about Lebanon. I have my doubts at times, if this players are really orignally lebanese..they show no passion at all.
