The Philippines, being the host of FIBA Asia 2013, will skip this tourney.

It will be a great match though among the four remaining teams for the two allotted slots. Malaysia has become a lot stronger while Thailand seems to have Indonesia's number.

Fearless forecast: (1) Malaysia (2) Thailand

Can't we like send the cadets or something?

Our names won't be on the pedestal, considering that this is the last SEABA Championship EVER.

Even sending a club team, somehow someway Indonesia would make it to top 2 with an upset. We would see Jellybean coaching in Manila
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
            1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Malaysia has a Filipino head coach Paul Daniel Advincula.

Rosters can be found on their official site: malaysia-basketball.com but it's all in Chinese and Google Translate can't translate Chinese names. Neither can I, since I'm not familiar with how their surnames are transliterated (depends on which part of China their ancestors are from; although given names are mostly transliteraed using Mainland China pinyin, which Taiwan will also start using.)
                aim low, score high

Indonesia and Thailands lineup are quite good. i think they'll faceoff in the finals. Indonesia is now fielding their next gen national players.

malaysia fielding in all chinese players. i wonder why batumalai isn't included. probably because he's old.

oh.sorry for that. they are still malaysian but with chinese descent. malaysian-chinese so-to-speak.

it isn't really that surprising. there isn't that much malays that are interested in playing hoops. they are into football. its just that those malaysian-chinese are the ones making up the pool for then national team. there are also those malaysian with tamil descent but not that much.
