Antetokounmpo had a very good game against the Thunder.... He even guarded Durant and somehow bothered him on defense early on in the game.

Milwaukee coach Larry Drew was impressed with Antetokounmpo's effort. The 19-year-old was matched up with Durant for much of the night, and he bothered him early.
"I thought he took the challenge," Drew said. "It's great to put him in that situation so he can learn. He has to feel good about how he played tonight."
    His stats for the night:
Antetokounmpo: 13 Pts, 11 Reb, 5 Asts, 2 Stls, 2 Blk in a losing effort against the Thunder.

His highlights from the game (including an amazing block):

And if things go as some want them, he will be setting picks for the "more experienced players" and not getting the ball.

Say that again! It will be a crime to let Calathes hold the ball even for a second.
In fact since Calathes can't shoot, I think he should be on the court the ~10 minutes Giannis is resting.

                Recipe for success right there.

Most important thing is for the cancer to really retire from the NT.

Or he can play some more, hold the ball for 22 seconds, have Giannis set a couple of picks and then pass to Giannis for the off balance 3 pointer.

                    This is becoming an understatement.

Is is too early to call Giannis the best Greek basketball player of all time?

From my North American (NBA-centric) perspective, I think it is a true statement. He has been that good the last couple months. Even at this young age he has to be by far Greece's best talent.

It would be a shame to not see the Greek national team built around Giannis... to not do so may alienate him from the team going forward.

He is a solid bet to soon become one of the best 10-15 players in the NBA. Maybe Top 5 a couple years down the road?

Play all 3 antetokounmpo brothers together at the 1-2-3. That would be sick. ANyone know why Kostas didnt play at FIBA u20 this summer like he was supposed to?

Kostas Antetokunmpo also known as Ndubuisi Adetokunbo played

"Kostas" has the necessary athletic abilities and physical tools to be a nice PF down the road.

Their mother gave all of them both a Greek and a Nigerian name to remember their past.So basically it's wrong to say that Kostas is not his name.

Wow, terrible numbers there. Makes me think that his career doesn't look so good going forth if he couldn't even get time at fiba europe u20 level

Terrific start for Giannis in these first 6 games.Averaging 21 points with 8.5 rebounds and 6 assists. So far he didn't have any explosive game yet he touched the triple-double 4 times in about 33 minutes of action. He can definetely be triple-double machine in a couple of years. However he is shooting with the poor 20% behind the arc.The good thing is that he is confident enough to shot this year.

I don't expect him to be available for NT stuff this time.Just signed a 100M contract,he knows quite well that he has to improve his shooting.Next year is a good chance to do it.
