    European Hall of Fame is the first such project created in Europe. It includes a list of players, who had the biggest influence on basketball in Europe. Feel free to send your comments. The list of players in alphabetic order:

    As you are also mentioning the players from 70's, I believe it should also include a Lithuanian Modestas Paulauskas who was the captain of USSR team that became 5 times European, once Olympic and World champion. Would have been a definite NBA-er back then if allowed. Pure talent.

    Looking back to 30's the list should definitely include Pranas Lubinas (Frank Lubin), European and Olympic champion. Unless the fact that he was a Lithuanian American does not qualify him enough.

    And definitely a Latvian Janis Krumins who was the best center in Europe in 50's-60's and a predecessor to the ones like Cosic or Sabonis.
