Special mention to Barbosa on his Celtics debut. 16 points by shooting 6-8, including 3-3 from downtown.

Varejao with 20 points and 17 rebounds and counting as three minutes are left in the 4th quarter in the CLE-MIL game. He's having a strong start.

Anderson is putting some brilliant numbers under his belt. Unfortunally, I haven't been able to watch any Cavs game, looking forward to see him in action.

Varejão went nuts against the Nets and had a career-high 35 points to go along with 18 rebounds. Cavs lost.

Varejao with another strong game: 15 Pts, 22 Reb, 3 Ast, 2 Stl, 1 Blk against the Memphis Grizzlies despite losing the game.

20 points and 18 rebounds for Andy Varejao tonight, but Cavaliers lost badly to the Phoenix Suns.

Check out Fab Melo: 32 points, 9 rebounds and 9 blocks. When Doc Rivers hinted that Melo is still not ready to be a contributor for Boston, maybe this will net Rivers some consideration in calling up the rookie. So far, the Celtics hooked up with another D-League stud: Jarvis Varnado.

Varejao will miss 6-8 weeks due to surgery to repair a torn leg muscle.

Sad. Health has been an issue for him for a long time. I hope next year good luck strikes him hard.

I'll just watch Tiago Splitter and Fab Melo then. Let's hope Melo does not go down with a season ending injury as the latter has been on and off with the Celtics and their D-League affiliate.
