    Default Kingdom SHS

now when I have finished with the statistics I don't actually know why I even started this. I was bored and looked at my fantasy team and then simply spent too much time doing this so I wanted to finish it..

Each year in euroleague fantasy I create a team with players only from ABA league countries. Second week of euroleague this season it was my highest scoring team (which says a lot about my other teams ), also since the upcoming EC will be held in Slovenia and all ABA countries will participate on the tournament I though It would be interesting to follow the players of each country throughou the euroleague (maybe also ULEB to be included) since some of those players will be participating at the EC.
As it can be seen from the list below (list consists of all players euroleague.net have in every team) in total there is 68 players from ABA countries registered to play in euroleague this season.
    Slovenia - 13 players
    Croatia - 25 players
    Serbia - 22 players
Macedonia - 4 players (3 actually since euroleague.net is having Bo McCalleb listed under USA)
    Bosnia & Herzegovina - 2 players
    Montenegro - 2 players

Numbers listed by each players name are index ratings from the official statistics.

Best performance in first two rounds: Zoran Planinić - 31 index rating (against Fenerbahce)
Worst performance in first two rounds: Dejan Musli - -7 index rating (against Bešiktaš)

Sad conclusion, there are some very good players from ABA countries playing in this years euroleague, some good and a lot of average or below average ones.
But we are really missing a world class players, a game changer like Bodiroga once was, or Vujčić etc..
Except of Slovenia basicly all ABA NT's on the upcoming EC will be consisted of this players or players who are playing in ULEB cup or are not playing any international competition.
It really makes you wonder can any of ABA teams fight for medals..

heja, heja cibosi, vodite nas k pobjedi. "
