Upd. 4 teams (CSKA, Khimki, Krasnye Krylya, Enisey) have officially completed their rosters, no more signings are presumably expected from Nizhny Novgorod and Triumph. Check current status of PBL team rosters on top of the page.

Petteri Koponen, what a great signing by Khimki, although I was told that the team is overpaying the player

Unfortunately, you are right. More to say, PBL had all the chances to be closed this summer leaving our country with no top national league. Finally they made a creepy agreement with VTB League. You can read here more about the scheme of this year competition.
So, 2012-13 PBL is going to have more or less 0 status, as for teams from Russia all the eurocups places will be determined by VTB League standings.
With all the recent success of the NT and clubs, there are still lots of reasons to hate about Russian basketball.

              2 question:

              - how is it possible that URAL EKATERINBURG is playing in the EUROCHALLENGE, althought they are not playing in the PBL?
              - what should we expect from this season - which players will be playing in the PBL, although this championchips is quite unimportaant? will it be a competition, where all the bench players will play most of the times?

Russians are tall people. I think the height of these teams should be taller.
