            Dima Bilan again will try to represent Russia This time in duo with Yulia Volkova (ex TATU, which also represented Russia some 10 years back). Seems like he can't have enough of it... It'll be interesting to hear the song and to see how the voting in Russian finals will go. How people will react to it, so far very different opinions goin' around... Though there're not much of the competition, lot of unknown artists. Probably the most serious one - Timati (who recently had quite big hit around the Europe "Welcome to St.Tropez") with some opera singer (don't remember the name).

            While UK already selected their entry and shocked everybody... It will be some Engelbert Humperdinck 75yo singer, who was succesfull in 60s... I was wondering where I heared this awkward name, then remembered his song "Lesbian Seagull" from "Beavis and Butthead" The song isn't released yet

            Some new entries

            Bulgaria - nothing interesting

            Israel (the real entry song). Dissapointed a bit, probably that wrong song lifted expectations too high

            Netherlands
            - the same like Bulgaria

            Slovenia - sounds like new "Molitva" ( ESC winners from Serbia few years ago)

            Italy

                Swedish entry selection is being contested still in Melodifestivalen selection

                The most commercially successful till now is:
                Loreen with "Euphoria"
                Note that Loreen is actually Lorine Zineb Noka Talhaoui, a Swedish singer of Moroccan Berber origins

                Another Top 10 finalist is Danny Saucedo with "Amazing"

                There is also the young sensation Ulrik Munther with "Soldiers"

                There is one that did not reach yet the final 10 can actually for the remaining two spots. Regardless it is charting in Sweden and has proven very popular as a novelty.

                It is the Iranian-Swedish artist comedian and musician Sean Banan (real name Sean Samadi) with "Sean Den Förste Banan"... which is quite fun...

                ==

                Another wild card with quite a pop tune is Top Cats with "Baby Doll"

                  Joan Franka - "You and Me"
                  Note that she is a Dutch singer of Turkish origin and her real name is Ayten Kalan

                  Here she is live

                  This is so impressive I will put the music video when it is released!

                    Loreen (Sweden) has really decent song. If she will win, definitely will be among my favorites along with Denmark, even maybe will top it

                      Eurovision 2012

                      Hello, I am not big fan of Eurovision and rarely waste time watching this contest where most songs are boring and voting system is bad (you can tell already that Turkey will give 10/12 points for the France...).

                      This year I am very disappointed because Lithuania delegated boring song (again) which has no chance and probably will not reach the finals.

                      Here you can see it:

                      We had another contestants which in my and my friends opinion are better and if not this post, you probably won't hear them ever. Check them out:

                      I really like this song, female vocal is very beautiful, and leading singer might sound funny but it is because he is handy-caped (and I really don't feel anykind of pity for him and this not affect my opinion)

                      I don't like this song personally but I know that many people liked it and it was considered a favorite in this Lithuanian selection for participant.

                      What do You think? Do You also disappointed about this? Interesting to hear Lithuanian and foreign members' opinions.

                      Maybe in other countries also was participants which was not selected and You feel they deserve it more, please share here so we can hear those songs.

                          Engelbert Humperdinck will sing for the UK.

                          This is a veritable international artist, and at 75 years, even better

                          Add to it that he is a native from India just like Cliff Richard, another world icon.

                          The Engelbert song is by Martin Terefe and Sacha Skarbek but has not been announced..

                          ==

                          But sure Engelbert Humperdinck, who is a huge favourite all over the world including in Eastern Europe can teach a lesson or two to the debutante singers of this generation though.

                          He is singing at Casino du Liban (in Lebanon) and also in Dubai just before Eurovison, being hugely popular in the Middle East as an icon.

                          Meanwhile here are some of his hits after selling 150 million albums.

                          ==

                          "Release Me"

                          "The Way It Used To Be"

                          "Another Time, Another Place"

                          "The Last Waltz"

                          "Lonely is Man Without Love"

                          "This Is My Song" (live - recent)

                          ==

                          He and Tom Jones were great rivals. But here together with Billy Preston added.

                          Plus some humour and great singing

                            A group of Armenian pop singers launched a campaign to boycott the 2012 Eurovision song contest being held in Baku. The statement comes shortly after a 20-year-old Armenian soldier was shot dead by an Azerbaijani sniper on the border between the two countries. The performers say that anti-Armenian sentiment persists in Azerbaijan due to the long-lasting Karabakh conflict. The head of Armenia’s delegation to Eurovision has also claimed her country had not received any safety guarantees for its members.

                            Armenia has applied to take part in the contest, but has yet to choose a singer to represent the country, according to Eurovision's official website. Eurovision organizers say no official notification of withdrawal from this year’s contest has come from Armenia yet.

                              I love the idea of truly heavyweights and veritable world artists to be sent for a change just like UK is doing with Engelbert Humperdinck.

                              I think more musical icons should take part and countries send their truly international artists not some wannabes

                              Plus every country should use its own official language obligatorily. No more singing in English or French..

                                So far this year's songs have been either extremely lame, of very low quality, forgettable or whoring for votes. Just like any other year that is, only worse. The only one that is not offensive to my ears so far is the Finnish entry.
                                The Euroleague Organization and Mr Bertomeu are like the Bulgarian Government: corrupt, partially stupid, and a huge underestimator of people's intelligence.
