      Rwanda in?
The New Times Publications SARL is a registered Rwandan private media outlet with hitherto publishes in English. It was established just less than years after the end of the 1994 Rwanda genocide and the return of over a million Rwanda refugees from mainly neighboring countries of Uganda , Burundi , Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC then Zaire ), Tanzania and Kenya.

No Zone 7 qualification - Seychelles must play in Zone 6 as no other Zone 7 teams wanted to travel to Seychelles for qualifying. So Rwanda will possibly qualify as Zone 5 runners-up as 1 space will be freed up by the lack of a Zone 7 berth.

Zone 6 qualifiers are currently underway in Mozambique. Top 2 will qualify.

        18/02/2013 Mozambique 105-19 Botswana
        18/02/2013 Zambia 76-52 Seychelles
        19/02/2013 Seychelles 71-68 Botswana
        19/02/2013 Mozambique 75-43 Zambia
        20/02/2013 Zambia 86-40 Botswana
        20/02/2013 Mozambique 71-39 Seychelles

        1-Mozambique
        2-Zambia
        3-Seychelles
        4-Botswana

        Semi-Finals
        22/02/2013 Mozambique 86-44 Botswana
        22/02/2013 Zambia 64-52 Seychelles

        3rd Place Match
        23/02/2013 Botswana 62-38 Seychelles

        Final
        23/02/2013 Mozambique 78-38 Zambia

            Not sure about South Africa.

Only Seychelles entered in Zone 7 - Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros were meant to take part, and even Réunion and Mayotte were invited as guests - but in the end, nobody could go to Seychelles, and so FIBA Africa decided no team could qualify without playing a match and put Seychelles in Zone 6.

Only the first gets the ticket out of Zone VI, so its probably Mozambique.
Two wild-cards will be given out, Rwanda should be one, while I believe Mali could be the other.

If you look a few posts above, you will see those scores were already there.

Given that Zones 6 and 7 were combined, Zone6/7 should get 2 berths. It's a bit unfair that there is only 1 qualifying berth for 2 zones.

It's sad that Madagascar couldn't even enter this year after hosting last time.

If Junior Etou plays for Congo I wonder which birthdate they will use.

I highly doubt that they (Congo) are having the funds to fly Etou in.
                        But thats so ridicolous...
Looks like an already-messy situation on the D.C. hoops scene is about to get messier. Junior Etou, a breakout star at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Va., is about to turn 18 all over again.

I have no idea why FIBA is doing that...bad move.

With best possible Rosters, group A Looks very tough, so is D. Group B and C have clear favorites. In my opinion , there are 5-6 teams for the 3 places.
