When Peter Sellers' died, hell was a place to be.
As for Jean-Pierre Jeunet, I really liked ˝Amélie˝ and ˝Un long dimanche de fiançailles˝, but unfortunately can't say the same for ˝The City of Lost Children˝ (maybe it's because I watched it long time ago and I wasn't intellectually ready for it, I don't know). Haven't watched Delicatessen, is it any good?Last edited by Guest; 11-22-2011, 07:57 PM.

Oh, you're such a narcissist.

I didn't like Delicatessen as much as ˝The City of Lost Children˝. It was just OK. More of a situation comedy.
I watched the latter with a friend, and we stopped the movie a lot, also because I read the subs too slowly, but mainly because there where some cool details that only one of us noticed and wanted to show it to the other one. And I don't remember them right now if you ask me.
It's not as much about the plot but the exclusionary world and atmosphere that the movie manage to transfer.
And I don't think I would appreciate this kind of movie if I watched it several years earlier.
Amélie is totally different... nothing in common.
