New basketball stadiums in Israel

There are two new basketball arenas in Israel, one in Jerusalem (10,000 seats) and other one in Haifa (renovation & expand - 6000 seats or something?).

Are there more new arenas in Israel under construction?
Any update photos of Haifa basketball arena?

Pointless thread like the one you've opened on Maccabi Tbilisi. There are no or nor will be "new" arenas the likes mentioned, not for another year at least. As for other projects...absolutely nothing but talk. Worst sport infrastructure in the world alone from Africa, maybe Albania and other very poor like countries.

the Arena in Jerusalem and the re-build stadium in haifa are miracles. simple as that.
beside Nokia arena since the foundation of this country their werent real trying to build a worth stadium. for example the second arena after nokia is malacha
with something like 3500 sits.

nothing is going to happen in the near future besides those who were mention.

in 2016 theres gonna be another 2 new basketball stadiums, one in rishon lezion and one in holon-each one will have 5000 sits.

there are plans on building a 5000 sits stadium in tel aviv.
its about a long story involve Hapoel tel aviv who need a new stadium after the detraction of ussishkin stadium. Hadar Yosef who is only 1500 sits is not enough for this team that is already a big favorite to go up to the first division with her many fans.

I cant find one on Hulon and HTA but trust me on this.

Due to Rishon Lezion site(just to be sure, I'm maccabi fan) there a plan to build one in Ashdod too(look in the end of the article).
Hope that we will be able to host a eurobasket at least.

A country with 2 10000 sits and 5 5000 stadiums is better than 1 10000 and all the rest are 3000 max, don't you think so?

And except for maccbi, hapoel and jeruslem no other team can fill a 10000 stadium(and i'm not so sure about hapoel).

I just noted a fact that its another 5000 stadium and you absolutely right...its a good start. and you are right we (HTA) cant fill a 10000 sits arena maybe beside againts maccabi or if we were playing in the euroleague...5000 sits is right for teams like Hapoel , Hulon or Haifa and even too much for teams like Rishon or Ashdod...

But finally...someone start to do something to promote the sport in our country.
