Strong 2017 recruiting class by Duke, with the addition of #17 ESPN-ranked fw Jade Williams, who will join #20 guard Mikayla Boykin, as well as f/c Madison Treece and guard Jayda Adams. Williams and Adams were teammates in the controversial U16 US team that won bronze at 2015 Fiba Americas, while Treece was among the trials invitees. Excellent 2017 recruiting campaign by Syracuse, with some international flavor.

Besides center Amaya Finklea-Guity (ESPN #42 prospect), the Orange will get the services of French star fw Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi (2016 U18 European champion and 2015 U18 3x3 World champ), f/c Digna Strautmane from Latvia (team's top scorer and rebounder at the 2016 U18 EC, 4th place), guard Nikki Oppenheimer (who represented Puerto Rico at the 2016 U18 Fiba Americas) and center Diaby Kariata, who originates from Ivory Coast.
