I'm aware of his accomplishments in the game against Spain and also about his basketball knowledge (and I defended him on this forum several times). But, he's not the reason of this renascence of their NT. McCalebb, on the other hand, is...

Drive to Maccaleb is the only option now for Macedonia for final attack.

Congrats to Russia (and LTbotd), also great tournament for fyr of Macedonia. Well fought even if they didn't quite have enough at the end.

Hope this is just the start of something special for them.

    Historical fail is historical.

Congratulations to both teams. To Russia for the bronze medal and their fantastic performance during all the Eurobasket. To Macedonia/FYROM for being an amazing surprise who played like the best teams.

I don't understand why McCalebb wasn't driving the ball into the heart of the Russian defense when they all had 4 fouls...

Very bad miss by Stojanovski, which is a shame, cause he's had a great tournament. I'm still content with 4th place, though.

The lack of luck doesn't mean that this wasn't a wonderful trip. Congratulations to FYR of Macedonia. The greatest team of this Eurobasket

With more focus on defensive rebounding, they would have won the gold medal and this is not an overstatement

Congrats to Russia as well for winning a well deserved medal. Excellent coherence as well and I am very glad for Aleksey to finally make it in the senior level

Unfortunately we lack big guys, especially since losing Gecevski in the Slovenia game.

    What about the refereeing?
Is there anyone here with enough knowledge to commend about the refs?

I'm not defying that. Sure Mc was a key factor to their game. But I can't see why call Ilievski a fool sufferring from grandure. Sure today he didn't play as wise as he used to up to now - yet he did take some brave shots and didn't miss them too.

The one that cost them the game was mainly Antic, the way I see it (in various instances he deserved some serious slapping in the face).
