Well those are the published max deals. The unpublished ones well hahaha. But I agree that Thirdy should get the money in the B League. I have more doubts about the level of competition and not the salaries. There is a risk that Thirdy ends up in a team that isnt game to pay him under the table extras.

i think the superstars could get a competitive offer from the empires, not to mention financial stability, whereas, a superstar could earn larger in a yearly basis but until when?

nevertheless, the PBA should be the final option for the Kais and Thirdys of the world

Thirdy is not being paid as a Rookie in the B-League. He is being paid as an Import. As per this article

Agreed. Salary earnings in the B-League is higher overall compared to the PBA. Imagine this, If the highest paid player in the PBA, Junmar Fajardo is rumored earning 1.5M monthly from SMB. The highest paid player in the B-League, Yuki Togashi is earning $1M per year. That's around almost P4M monthly converted to pesos. More than double Junmar's. Not to mention there's already fan attendance in Japan while the PBA is still having a hard time starting its season.

Our local players should take a good hard look overseas. Especially our college players. Almost 2 years nang nakatengga mga yan. A lot of time developing wasted.

Meralco had their first RT PCR test on May 7 & their second earlier this afternoon. They are prepared to leave for Ilocos Norte on Sat. for a 10-day training camp, but can also practice at the Meralco Gym if MM gets upgraded to GCQ.

If the Ilocos Norte camp pushes thru, the Bolts will practice in a bubble setup at the Laoag Centennial Arena & will stay at the Fort Ilocandia Resort & Hotel. Team manager Paolo Trillo says even if MM falls under GCQ on the 15th, they can still opt to leave for Ilocos Norte.

PBA thinks that they are still the prime league in Asia. Wake up dudes, you are not even a top 5 Asian league right now - both in salary and competition.

3. BLG
4. KBL
5. ISL
6. LBL
7. PBA

Is ISL the Israeli League? If that's the case, I think it's not in Asia, but in Europe (well, when it comes to FIBA zone).

Still, even then, your point on the PBA stands. Not even top 5. And sometimes, player development is really stunted here.

the draft dodging rule is somehow discriminatory against homegrown talents, While Fil-Foreigners such as the likes of Pringle, CStan, Mikey Williams etc. spent much of their primes in foreign leagues without much fanfare or consequence relative to the PBA, their homegrown counterpart has to deal with this BS. heck these Fil-Foreigners ended up in the PBA since they no longer have that much offers from commercial leagues. So i guess they should start requiring Fil-Foreigners to send their letter explaining why they are not joining their draft class.

Best compromise would be just hold the rights of the player until he decides to play in the PBA.

Christian Hermoso, Stanley Pringle, Scuba Holt, Mikh McKinney, DJ Fenner, Mikey Williams, Sedrick Barefield, Ron Harper Jr. to play first in PBA D-League for 2 conferences before they can enter PBA after their college careers??
