Blackwater never did good. Their best is quarterfinals exit.

Tnt is one of contenders. So their pick is worthless.

You are like comparing Lakers draft pick and Cavaliers draft pick before the 2020 nba season starts.

We didnt know who will get a higher pick yet. But we can assume that cavs pick will have more value

A revenue-sharing style of business model can possibly help parity in the PBA. I'm aware the NBA version was designed to help the small-market team, but i think a version of revenue sharing is possible to incentivize the competitive teams therefore giving motivation to the weaker teams to improve their rosters and build their fanbase instead of cashing in and selling their star players.

Wishful thinking of course, definitely won't be approved by pba board dominated by the pba oligarchs lol

So if it's MVP, it's business. If it's SMB, it's highway robbery. So far you're the only one here who thought it's a fair trade.

TNT and NLEX had no choice but to trade for the pick a season before because there is a ban as a reaction from the CS trade. But MVP did the same before.

Pwede naman umamin na biased o fan eh. Hehe. Let's not pretend anymore.

Yes we are biased, as the players taken from the trade can possibly play for Gilas...MVP is strengthening his OBA teams not just for PBA purposes but for Gilas also while SMC they trade players and just hoard them from Gilas.

Blackwater has zero history of hoarding players for Gilas. Its not about Gilas. Cheat to win baby

Magkaiba kasi ginawa nila dude.. MVP Group did was fair atleast on paper.. Look at social media sites.. They trade before the season starts, so the picks are in same value.. When SMB gets Cstand eh they get that already announce 1st pick.. Did you see the difference? I'm know that MVP group trades are bias if we look at the history of their transaction, But they did was clean.. parang pulitiko, malinis ang trabaho kahit alam natin na may bahid talaga.. but when SMC trades eh garapalan to the max eh.. Remember when they get Tautuaa before eh also the same what they do today.. They get Blackwater pick before the season starts.. So basically a clean transaction.. While when they get Rosario eh Kia(Columbian) receives Canaleta and Ramos, both players are serviceable at that time.. muntik pa nga mag semis Kia afterwards eh..

They did was still clean parin.. No highway robbery type of trade.. They trade the pick before the season starts.. while when SMB did was totally scam dude.. that trade was the main reason why PBA still not getting in the hump.. nakapanlulumo ung trade talaga nun.. hanggang ngaun ramdam parin..

It's better for our NT. I'd rather have the farm teams trade their asset to MVP teams. You risk those assets
ending up with SMC by traing them to other farm teams or independent teams. I don't really support any PBA team anyway

What is best for the NT is to stop prioritizing MVP talents for the NT. Best team available.

Oh come from bro... What prioritizing TNT talebt for NT.... You think SMC will lend their players if not Pareng Yeng or Tim is the Coach? Its always a questuinnof availability, meaning players available more than 10days...Besides why so bothered with SMC players eh they dont fit internationally, JF is a defensive nightmare on PNR, Slaughter is Slow, Japhet is still nerbiotic, Lassiter is injury prone, Romeo is tio small to be a SG, Santos and Cabagnot are retirable and Pringle and Ross are ineligible...Besides TNT first 5 at least Fiba Asia level serviceable...

Tnt players are not also gilas level anymrore. Castro is too old. Perez is better than him now. Pogoy is a terrible fiba shooter.
Troy is even not in 1/4 of RDO. He is too soft.

Almost all of our gilas ideal assets are in collegiate(Thirdy,Paras,Abando, oftana) and abroad(Kai,Edu,Panopio)

Hope our young players will not be threatened by pba draft ban rule

Our wing prospects are not in the PBA but our guards will most likely come from the PBA. Other than Remy Martin who we cant say for certain is eligible till he plays, our best 2023 prospects are in the PBA. Kiefer, Perez, TR, Bolick and BRP.

Panopio and martin will do. But yeah since we are not sure about eligibility,. I AGREE our best guards is in the pba. They are in the MVP and independen team anyways. So nothing to worry

I am not sold on nieto as our future guard really

Anyway, 2023 is still far. We can still see a fil foreign "stanley pringle level" player that we can give a passport.

Kids like Paras, Kai & Thirdy know that PBA is not the only league that can fill their ATM. Not anymore. Haha. PBA is threatened due to their lack of flexibility and this ban rule shows 100% that they're feeling other leagues (hint - ABL) breathing down their collective jurassic necks.

Kai has a chance to fill a bank, kobe has showbiz pedigree haha(heard the mom is making a showbiz comeback).. and just like the two, thirdy has talent and pba backers to go in the pba whenever he wants just like parks and his kuya kiefer

Again anak mayaman at may benefactor sila.. what about the other players? That should be the purpose of gilas right, not disband them 6 months after..

I don't think Yeng would want to be part of that.
“When we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, then we are short-changing ourselves. My brain, it cannot process failure. It will not process failure. Because if I have to sit there and face myself and tell myself, ‘You’re a failure,’ I think that is worse, that is almost worse than death.”

This is actually what makes the current gilas development program very interesting. We already know how this program will be a very sweet offer/option for our young fil-am recruits who currently set their eyes on making it to the NBA. But i think this program also offers a gateway for the abando's and the baltazar's to the rest of the world as it will expose them during their travels to different leagues and levels of play.

You just need one example, just to let everyone realize the potential of the program, and people will follow suit.
