Dominican Republic-Panama 44-30 at the half.

DR is suffocating Panama's interior game. Lloreda cant do anything against Horford and Jack, and Forbes has been non existant today.

On the other hand Charlie looks like hes gonna have his best game, though his game could be better: 9 points on 3/8 fg, but 3/5 from 3

Thats probably it for Panama, as they can only play for a half.

Panama and DR stopped playing with 32 seconds, left, refs refused to call 24 seconds violation, game over. Players crying on both teams. Edgar Sosa on his way to surgery room, prayers for him.

Shoot was it really horrifying? Sosa is a young player so that sucks, it was grabage time so he should have been rested, but if it was really bad then it doesnt matter who it happened to, its still bad.

    How did it happen anyway?

Things like this can shake a teams spirit and concentration, I would want to postpone the rest of the games at least for a day.

One game suspension for Renaldo Balkman (Pur) and Nestor Colmenares (Ven) for their altercation in yesterday's game.

Hate to see such a severe injury like that. I hope it doesn't affect his career.

The headbutt by Balkman wasn't even an attempt to hurt the guy. Sometimes the refs have to use common sense.
