Still don't see lots of similarities between the two, actually they have different types of bodies . Jokic is distinct of any NBA center today , he's so unique , he's basically point guard at center position.

Their bodies are like exactly the same.

I think you're forgetting how mobile Brook was when younger. He's been slowed down considerably by his foot injury.

You really need to chill with the unnecessary crap you add in your responses.

They're both finesse players with somewhat gangly bodies whose game relies on mobility, craftiness, and the ability to shoot. Brook is a bit bigger and Jokic is a bit more gangly and mobile but it's really the only comparison you can make for Jokic. I've watched the NBA since the days of Jordan, and I had never seen a player like Brook before him nor a player like Jokic before him. I think you're completely forgetting just how good and versatile Brook was when younger. He's a better shooter now but he's been slowed considerably by his foot injury.

Another possible comparison is Hawes with the Kings but he never really had a complete game. Hell of a facilitator though, and pretty athletic back then. Jokic is sort of a cross between the two imo.

I would just like to point out that in the past 10 games Jokić is averaging a near triple double with 19.9PPG, 11.6REB and 9.1 AST. It's a real shame Malone put him to play at 4 for so long considering his massive outbreak since going back to center starting position. Nuggets have a 6-2 record since Plumlee got injured and the only two losses were a 1-basket loss away at San Antonio and a crushing loss in Houston where he only played for 22 minutes.

I don't get why they don't pair him with Faried. He plays big enough when need be that you just need some shot-blocking to make up for his defensive liabilities.

Unless they finally did that with Plumlee out?

Kenneth Faried has been a big disappointment for me. In the last 25 games of the 2014 regular season he was coming on strong averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds. That play earned him a spot on the 2014 Usa World Cup team in which he probably was the most consistent player on that gold medal team. He was making peanuts financially up until that point but a month later he was rewarded with a 4 year contract extension for some serious money. It’s been down hill ever since culminating this year with a serious reduction in minutes. He’s still in his 20’s and has a chance to live up to that promise that he showed three or four years ago.

Yeah no kidding. But he has evolved his offensive game from being just a hustle guy to being able to take you outside, which helps.

I think he just needs the right role on the right team. I would think playing next to Jokic would be that role but who knows if a change of scenery is necessary instead.

The problem is there are so many more bigs who aren't one-dimensional these days, which makes him less of an asset than he used to be. But I think his combination of shot-blocking and rebounding are what should ensure he stays in the NBA for longer than he might have otherwise. Most of those undersized fours aren't really shot-blockers -probably because they lack the necessary wingspan.

Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Clippers – 25/02/2019
This is a matchup of NBA between Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers at Pepsi Center in Denver. Denver Nuggets against LA Clippers is the match with big interest after their previous matches at NBA.
Earlier this season, these teams saw each other 3 times and Nuggets are leading season series 2-1. Last game was on January 11th and Denver blew out the Clippers 100-121. Leaders in this game for Clips were: Lou Williams (19pts, 5ass), Danilo Gallinari (18pts, 4ass, 3rebs), Montrezl Harrell (16pts, 6rebs). Tobias Harris scored 18pts and was a leader in this game, but now he is out of the Clippers and this is a huge disadvantage for them. Denver’s leaders in this game: Jamal Murray (23pts, 5rebs), Nikola Jokic (18pts, 14rebs, 10ast), Mason Plumlee (17pts, 12rebs, 5ast).
