taking the worst case scenario in not having a naturalized player, and Ali Mahmoud being injured.

    PG: Miguel Martinez
    SG: Jean Abdel Nour
    SF: Fadi Elkhatib
    PF: Basel Bawji
    C: Charles Tabet

ali mahmoud and fadi el khatib will join later on. charles tabet will join if he wants to make an impact and get good offers next year. i believe the center will be daryl watkins even though i prefer samb over him ( and vroman over both )

Zhizhi and Liu Wei ? aren't they a little too old to play for the chinese NT? i mean doesent china have better prospects on these postions
position 1 and 5 are the most sensitive positions in bball

There is only one slot to London, so we should use the best players, not best prospect players
if we would won the aisa champ,in London, I think the first five would be:

    Su wei Or Max
    Yi Jianlian
    Sun Yue
    Wang Shipeng
    Guo Ailun

well yeah, but i mean can zhizhi and Wei still play 40 minutes and i'm sure they're not the same players we used to know, even in 2009 zhizhi didint impress me
Doesent china have better players on these 2 positions? I'm sure it does, so i'd be surprised to see zhizhi and wei starting

Yes,there are no better player on these 2 positions now.

if you watched asian game 2010,you would see that zhizhi is also great in the court, it's no problem for him to play around 20 mins per game .
Liu wei is good too , and he is not so old as you think , he is just 31 age,not too old for a PG, 30 mins per game is ok for him.

However, on position 5,we have su wei and max , they have little offense skills but is better than zhizhi on defence. and on position 1, sun yue or ailun(if he would be there) could play when liu wei is rest.

A very good lineup as well. In my opinion, the best offensive formula in regards with the starting unit. Kim Yong-Hwan is a very good shooter that complements the double post threat of Ha Seung-Jin and Kim Joo-Sung.

For my starting lineup, I decided to compromise the three spot sniping for the perimeter play of Moon Ta-Jong as well as the possible best increase of perimeter defense with Moon in tow. As well as make Kim Joo-Sung available as the backup center when Ha gets into foul trouble. Hence, Oh Sakeun is at the four spot.

While we both have the same starting back court of Yang and Kang. Both can penetrate at any given time.

for me the best starting line up that would have a chance to win the champ is:
    1-ali mahmoud
    2-fady el khatib
    3-jean abed el nour
    4-daniel faris
    5-daryl watkins
