This was the highlight of the night:
Seton Hall commit Aquille Carr finds Anton Waters off the glass for a dunk. WWW.DMVelite.com SEE FULL GALLERY HERE: http://dmvelite.com/video/national-christ...
He scored 38 points on probably about as many shots. Plays with an impossible amount of flair and is certainly worth the price of admission in a high school game. His team was up 2 after the third quarter but went cold in the fourth and ended up losing by 17.Originally posted by FedfanMost ppl get childish when they lose.Originally posted by GuTOrefs in games of Spain walks with literally poop in his pants afraid of the Spanish players

Legendary duel.
However we can't ignore the fact that they still remain to be considered as top prospects from their high schools... Or unless they don't deserve all this hype yet the media in the U.S wants to keep concentrating on how talented they are.

Despite Carr being committed to Seton Hall, he said in an interview with the Baltimore Sun that he is not ruling out to foregoing college and instead, play professionally abroad.Sacramento Kings

Carr is allegedly going to announce this weekend that he is turning pro. Hope it works out for him but there seems to be an element of fantasy involved.Originally posted by FedfanMost ppl get childish when they lose.Originally posted by GuTOrefs in games of Spain walks with literally poop in his pants afraid of the Spanish players

Originally posted by JGX View PostStrange story. He's a fun player and a huge fan favorite in Baltimore but he's still a 5'6" gunner. Team was favored to win the Maryland state championship this year but he shot 9-32 in the final and they lost.
Here's the tournament he played in Italy:
His stats by game:
vs. BBA Lissone, 8-18 FG, 19 pts
vs. KK Kukaricki Belgrade, 9-28 FG, 27 pts
vs. Endesa Tenerife, 12-18 FG, 30 pts
vs. KK Rijeka, 15-32 FG, 40 pts
vs. Rimini, 1-7 FG, 2 pts
He didn't win MVP (that went to his teammate and Baltimore city rival, Daquan Cook), or "best scorer" (some Czech guy). And did he get benched in the final?
Hard to believe this is true IMO.
(Reply is not exactly fresh but hope can be anyhow of some interest!)

Top scorer of the tournament was the phenomenal Czech forward Martin Kriz (born 1993) who also led the Junior NT in scoring (and rebounding) later that year at the U18 Euro Championships.

Besides Carr and Cook, Canadian guard Justin Edwards, of 1992, played very well in the final game, another Canadian was 6-6 forward Mikyle McIntosh (1994), then 6-1 Kevin Muzzi (1993) and 6-1 Caleb Miskelly (1993) were mentioned as well.
Here a couple of still-alive links:
Il weekend pasquale in quel di Lissone, cuore della Brianza, si tinge a stelle e striscie. La 19esima edizione del Torneo Internazionale Juniores, cui in passato ha partecipato gente del calibro di Gallinari, Daequan Cook,
P.S: Matt Gorski (1992, 7-0) and his brother Nick (1994, 6-8) also played in the winning team.Last edited by carlo; 03-16-2013, 09:21 AM.

Carr already sounds like a Chinese league veteran:
“It feels good. I came out here with an opportunity to show my talent and they really appreciate me,” Carr said of his time in China playing alongside T-Mac, Jason Williams, and Co. on the tour. “I love the atmosphere, the fans and the games here. The only thing is the food, but I’m trying my best to get used to that."Originally posted by FedfanMost ppl get childish when they lose.Originally posted by GuTOrefs in games of Spain walks with literally poop in his pants afraid of the Spanish players
