The Milwaukee Bucks' Central Division Rivals, the Chicago Bulls have lost Boozer to injury and I look for the Bucks to capitalize on this event by placing a priority on winning games for opening week to mid November.

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut said in an interview in comment regarding the status of his surgicaly repaired right hand:

"I might not be 100% the whole year,"
"The elbow, finger, everything; I won't be 100%, so I'll have to play through the pain through the season. Even once it gets better, I'm still going to be 90% for the year or 85%.
"I don't have my mobility and flexibility like I should, but I just have to adjust to it."
This means that acute pain will bother him this season. But he is a warrior for playing through it.

                    Milwaukee Bucks news:

Milwaukee Bucks second round draft pick Daniel Hobson has undergone successful left-hip surgery. Hobson is set to undergo a similar procedure on his right hip later this year and is expected to miss the NBA 2010-2011 regular season.

The Milwaukee Bucks have announced that center Andrew Bogut will play the pre-season games against the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves this weekend. This will be Bogut's first game since suffering that right arm injury during last season's game against the Phoenix Suns.

There are also talks of limiting the minutes of center Andrew Bogut within this season. Which is why the investment of Gooden and the active pursuit for free agent Erick Dampier are all relative insurances.

Good point. Gooden is still a tough player, but he struggles in defense against the bigger centers (everybody does). Dampier would be a great player to have behind Bogut.

The Bucks are loaded with good SG/SF players. Maggette is a great player, but they can win games without him for now. That position is the most crowded in the NBA.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd has confirmed that he is targeting a return to play date of February 2011. Redd has suffered successive knee injuries this past two years and is optimistic of not playing prematurely.

                              He said in an interview:

"I just know I want to come back and do my part, whatever it is. There's no doubt about it. My mind is to come back and to play and help this team out as much as I can when I get back."
He was asked on what will be his role for the team this February upon his return:

"Any role, any role, just to play basketball and be a part. That's it and that's been my mentality my whole tenure here. To do the best I can do."

It is not relatively easy to transition from being the franchise player that Redd was once and after just two years, he became a role player as the team is now bannered by Bogut and Jennings. But kudos to Redd for being very professional and understanding that times have changed.

Absolutely. I would expect nothing less from Michael Redd. He's a very classy guy. Very smart on and off the court. He's a big name in Ohio sports, coming from Columbus and playing at Ohio State.
