Playing the preliminary rounds of Copa Argentina (the official preseason tournament), Libertad beat Obras 118-115 in 4 overtimes
Rubén Wolkowyski of Libertad scored a career high 45 points, while Juan Gutiérrez and Luis Cequeira of Obras scored 33 and 23 points respectively.

Peñarol's PF Leonardo Gutiérrez set a new league record hitting 15 three-pointers in its 120-78 win vs Boca Juniors. He totaled 48 points in 30 minutes.
