Spain - Lithuania 60-40 (Lithuania still has a PG problem, and opposite team has such good guards)
Argentina - Turkey 60-40 (Argentina is one of the main candidates and Turkey has a lot of injury problems, especially no forward, which can defend Nocioni, so will be though)
USA - Germany 75-25 (USA is just too good and with only a Dirk miracle can save Germany)
Greece - France 65-35 (Greece defence and though play will make the difference in this game)

Spain - Lithuania 70-30 (Spain is better team, but I hope Lithuanian guards will exploide from 3point line )
Argentina - Turkey 80-20 (Argentina knows how to win big games. I don't see Turkey having good game vs. them)
USA - Germany 60-40 (Dirk can do it. If Kobe can put 81 points, Dirk can score 181. Anyway, If they play with their heart and Dirk have a good night, everything can happen)
Greece - France 60-40 (Both teams are hustlers. Greece is better team, and from what I saw France has PG problems)

It was surprising for me to see that some of you gave considerable chance to Turkey against Argentina, and some even predicted a Turkey win. It's something very nice, but I must say this is more than the average expectation here.

This will be the first time in my life I won't root for Argentina in any team sports.

Spain-Lithuania 60-40 (Liths are underdog now, and this can help)
Argentina-Turkey 60-40 (Hard task, but I think we'll never give up)
USA-Germany 75-25 (Dirk&Germany does not seem well this time)
Greece-France 70-30 (Without Parker, easy win for Greece)

    Spain - Lithuania

Spain has too many weapons and a very balanced roster. I see big fighting by Lithuania for some time, but over the course of the game, Spain should prevail.

    Argentina - Turkey 60-40

Easy win for Argentina. I see lots of us are having high hopes about Turkey, and they're really an exciting squad with a lot of heart. But Argentina is not Slovenia, and having some crazy row of 5 triples won't be enough.

    USA - Germany

Easy win for the States. Dirk can be enough to bring down Spain, but not Greece or the USA.

    Greece - France

Again - easy win for the Greeks. Their squad is the same, if not better, than last year. France has lost T.Parker, and A.Jeanneau & Co. will have their hands full, trying to break that Greek press.

P.S. Anyway, in all cases, I hope for tight battles.

Saskibaloia is not crazy. He's just biased against the USA, anything but the USA, especially after the USA dismantled Australia.

USA has Greece/France first after Germany and then faces Argentina/Spain/Lithuania/Turkey in Final.

Because i dont like their basketball playing style. and about france match. it's my opinion. it's not about Greece and France...
i never add my political thoughts in my opinions about sports.

But, if you want an answer with your way, i can easily say, i dont like france more than Greece.

    Spain - Lithuania
Spanish bench is just too deep..even if they would have a bad start into the game someone would step-up from the bench and turn things around...and when they take the lead in the game the pressure is off and they are ready to "rumble".

    Argentina - Turkey
If there were no injuries in Turkish team, game would be close...still I will root for Turkey and hope for a great 3pt night from them...they surely can match argentinian frontcourt...but guards are the key to win this game.

    USA - Germany

    Greece - France
France didn't look good on this tournament...but Greece also struggled in offense...both teams play great defense...I think France will have a special motivation for a payback - semifinals in Belgrade...that's why I give them the edge in this close matchup...also in comparison to belgarde french frontcourt now looks deeper.

    Unhappy Predictions: Final ranking

I believe that the final ranking will be like that:
    1. USA
    2. Argentina
    3. Greece
    4. Lithouania

I am afraid but I don't think that Greece can beat USA and I believe that Lithouania will make it through Spain..
