Augustus and Lawson the last cuts. Six UConn players on the team.

    Is Fowles ready to play?

Augustus and Lawson cuts a bit surprising, especially Lawson had excellent stas in the exhibition games and with 9 threes was the best scorer beyond the arc.

Probably USA staff wanted to keep as many tall players as possible.
Hope Fowler will be OK at least for the second phase, otherwise USA team can face serious troubles.

    Default Diana Taurasi

With the recent test results of Diana Taurasi confirming her "A" sample with traces of a mild stimulant, the Taurasi's participation in the 2012 London Olympics could be in jeopardy.

US Senior NT will travel to Europe Sept 27 - Oct 9 to play 5 friendly games in Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and Hungary.

The roster comprises 26 players, but some of them could still be engaged in the WNBA finals.

Players in roster, still subject to changes, are only 10, with the addition of Sophia Young and Danielle Robinson (WNBA All Rookie team).

On the other hand, several NT players are missing, though not any more engaged with WNBA playoffs.

USA beat Ros Casares 78-68 in the tournament final. A rare matchup of World Champion NT against Euroleague champion club, although neither team was close to full strength.
