Nuno Perdigao in Sampaense - Jan 28, 2011 (by Bruno Baltazar)
Nuno Perdigao (194-G-78) is the new Sampaense player ,last season he played for Vagos and in 15 games he averaged 9.7ppg, 4.1rpg, Assists-4 (4.6apg), 1.9spg with global good averaged.
This will bring experience to the team ,he is 32 years old, guard, international for the portuguese national team and a well known player, the 6'5 played for CAB,Belenenses,Ovarense and Porto before,he made all star games ,he won the league as well between alot more trophies ,a good player for the league and a good comeback this year ...
Tomorrow the deciding game 7 of the playoff finals between eternal rivals Porto and Benfica.
This series have been exciting, but Benfica hasn't been able to keep the games close when playing away. Their defense has been awful at some points, specially on the transition game, with Porto having several open 3's. The first two were blowouts, the last one was closer but still Porto won it quite easily. Benfica is an old team and that has played a role taking into account the up tempo style Porto plays at home. I bet on Porto to win this one.

Porto won game 7. As in the previous games at Dragão Caixa, Benfica couldn't keep it close until the end. A run in the beginning of the 3rd quarter (43-38 at HT) put Porto ahead by a comfortable margin (15 points).
