Ukraine about to lose top talent? - Jun 14, 2010 (by Max Brodsky)
Sources in Russia have confirmed that Spartak St.Petersburg is trying to take one of the top talent out of the Ukraine permenantly. Sources indicate that Club intends to make Konstantin Anikienko (215-C-92, agency: Buck Andre) Russian by giving him a Russian passport. If that happens Anikienko will be lost for Ukrainian basketball forever as he will not be playing in any age category of Ukrianian National Team. Losing Anikienko would be a big blow to Ukrainian basketball since he's one of the top talents in the country.
