Traditionally Serbia is a team with quite a high winning mentality, if they manage to make the game have the rythm they like, could make Spain take a silver medal... again.

After all it seems to be the final it was thought at the beginning of eurobasket.

Although the Lithuania-Yugoslavia/Serbia rivalry is well known (at least used to be), I will definitely support Serbia tomorrow.
Ivkovic proved to be the best coach in the competition. I just loved when Krstic tried to argue (well discuss in a high tone, to be precise) with Ivkovic during the TO in the overtime and it only took one look to shut Nenad up. Players respect their coach a lot.

Teodosic is the best player in the tournament and I honestly hope he gets the MVP. I just fell in love with him during this tournament (not literally, of course).

I can only imagine what kind of powerhouse Serbia will be in London 2012.

Good luck tomorrow, Serbia! Make us happy, letting us see Spain getting silver once more.

The MVP comes from the winning team. FIBA Europe supposedly made this a rule after Dirk won the MVP from a losing team. So if Spain wins Gasol will be MVP.

I just hope the refs stop that nonsense from Spain's last two games and call is straight.

So it just started in last games? You sure? I saw it since the beginning, that's why they lost to Serbia only by 9, should've lost 30 on honest refereeing!

But seriously guys, Teodosic has one great game with no-conscience shots and you forget he was more like liability in first Spain-Serbia game.
Anyway, Spain has more experience, talent, energy (and some say referees are on their side), how could they lose 2 times in a row.
Serbia is not able to play suffocating defence 40 minutes, and Spain definitely has new tricks for them, also Gasol has regained the form. I would be surprised if they win with less difference than today.

    From fibaeurope.com:

FIBA Europe official spokesman announced that Spain asked for a change in the schedule of the 1st place final. "Since Serbia's semifinal ended up at overtime, we think that 1st place final should be anticipated" were the words of Spanish Basketball Federation Secretary.
FIBA Europe accepted the Spain's request, so this is the new schedule for the last day of the Eurobasket 2009:

3rd to 4th place final: Greece - Slovenia (21.15 CET)
5th to 6h place final: Croatia - France (18.30 CET)
7th to 8th place final: Turkey - Russia (14.15 CET)
1st to 2nd place final: Spain - Serbia (5.15 CET)

Who would tell, Serbia making it to the final with a young team and leaving established stars out. Who needs them Duda making an amazing job.

Duda is class. I am a bit sceptical though that Serbia will beat Spain tomorrow. I hope so, but Spain has uped its game and it is its 7th attempt to win a final in Eurobasket. On the other hand, Serbia has nothing to lose and they may upset the Spaniards. Lets hope the game is going to be as much fun as some of the last few games.

    May the best team win
