or could they be ' regular' players for instance Jules Aw and Sidi Faye?

International Basketball results and statistics archives. Historical data from FIBA, FIBA Zones and Olympic basketball events since 1930.
Is Jules Richard Aw the same person as Souleymane Aw? I'm confused. Also is Pape Ibrahima Faye the same person as Cheikh "Pif" Faye as listed on FIBA's website? Also Moustapha Niang seems to be the same person as Mamadou Niang... Babacar=Babou I assume... why the difference in names? Which names do they really go by?
I know Sidi/Sidy Faye and Mouhammad Faye are different people from this Pape Ibrahim/Cheikh "Pif" Faye:
Sidy FAYE -/- 07/07/1978
Cheikh "Pif" FAYE PG 192cm 6'4" 19/05/1987
Mouhammad FAYE -/- 14/09/1985Last edited by sinobball; 02-07-2011, 11:42 PM.aim low, score high

Btw, this list indeed looks great, if only they'll be able to get all the best of it - Senegal might even give a good fight to Angola

Missing from it's team in 2009 are:
Ibrahima Dieng
Kabir Pene
Babacar Cisse
Pape Sow
Malick Badiane
Dieng was not used much, while Pene had to play a lot due to Cisse's knee-injury and failed. Cisse is retired, don't know if that is the same with Sow and Badiane. Frontcourt is always loaded while guard positions are always the weak spot of Senegal.
Let's see if Pape Sy , Gomis and D'Almeida can change that.
