The 2011 FIBA Asia Championship for Men The tournament was held in 15–25 September 2011 in Wuhan, Hubei, China and featured 16 teams. Lebanon was the original host for the event. The host, China won the tournament, defeating Jordan 70–69 in the final.
The 2009 FIBA Asia Championships of basketball will be held in China from August 6-16, 2009 with 16 teams including China, India, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, UAE, and more.
