  • The Challenge : Concepcion vs Lopez, Latinos vs Filipinos

Undefeated world champion Juan Manuel Lopez (28-0, 25 KO's) defends his 126lbs title against Filipino Bernabe Concepción (28-3-1, 15 KO's) Fight card will include 10 matches.

Includes Nonito Donaire vs Tyson marquez.

    Eden Sonsona vs Fres Oquendo.

    i'm making a super-uber-exaggerated biased prediction :

All Pinoys will win by KO.

(Lopez has 75% of winning against Lopez though...)

    GO PILIPINAS!

poor bernabe..he'll get the worst beating of his life...

bernabe is just way way behind juanMa..power,tactics,durability and everything..

but i'll change my mind if i'll see a side to side/new angle movements from bernabe..ill give him 40% chance to win against juanma if he'll have this with him.

bernabe is very predictable and repetitious kasi.

..If im not a filipino i think i will bet on Lopez his the toughest opponent ABE will fight..but theres a term in all sports "the ball is round" so anything will happen..

I Hope nonito KO Marquez to fight Darchinyan and Montiel or Cazares

        Juanma destroys Concepción before 12.

Donaire defeats Marquez by desicion though hes having trouble making weight so its gonna be a hard one.

Jonathan(not Fres) Oquendo vs Sonsona is pretty even, Im rooting for my countryman.

Bernabe is in deep shit. I do hope for an upset. If he can survive the early rounds he has a chance. I'm a big Juanma fan actually, but my heart tells me to side with Abe as he is my countryman.

I want to see a come from behind win by Bernabe via 10th round TKO. But my logic tells me that Juanma will KO him in 5. Whoever wins, I'd still be happy though. Both are likeable fighters.

What a great fight, its seems Juanma“s power is oficially back, in fact, he might have more power, I never saw Juanma tzurn a mans head at superbantamweight.

He has to be careful though, Concepción surprised him at the end of the round with a counter, he has to keep composure like he did when the fight started, or else he might get koed.

Good thing is Juanma knock you out before my fans get a beer Lopez is back!

I LOL'd at the reaction of the Puerto Ricans in the Arena when Concepcion KD Lopez. I was like WOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

but Lopez was just too smart and too STRONG.... man.... where did he get his godlike strength? He's just too much.

SOrry Loss for abe, he looked for a slugfest without considering Lopez's power. A lot of what ifs.

Good win by Donaire but the referee officiating Oquendo vs Sonsona s*cked balls.

Abe Concepcion = is the Japeth Aguilar of Philippine Boxing.
Japeth Aguilar = Abe COncepcion of Philippine Basketball

Props to Bernabe for the courage he showed. Juanma is just too much for 126. This made me a much bigger fan of Juanma. I think he'll rape Rafa when they meet. Nice win! Tough luck for my man Bernabe.
