  • Lebanon at the Asian Handball Championship

I'm not a big fan of this game but since the tournament is being played in Lebanon and our team stands a big chance of qualifiying to the World Championship.I would like to open this thread to support our team!

Lebanon opened the tournament with an easy win over the Jordanian NT 34-21 and the next game must be tougher against Iran this wednesday at 4 pm!

For all, please try to be there to watch and support our team!
    Proud to be Lebanese

true the tournament is being held by hatem achour's court or lets say sadaka's club court on the main airport road. Lebanon needs your support. Why not having a second popular game game in lebanon?
Lebanon mother land of the phoenicians! 7000 years of culture and history and still BEIRUT is "PARIS OF THE MIDDLE EAST"

-He is a great GK:P the jordan players were afraid from him:P this player is a lebanese aboard, he was playing in romania... lebanon have a really very gd team and nshalla they will make it to WC for the first time and this will be the second consecutive success in handball after the silver medal that AL-SADD club took in the asian championship for clubs when they lost 31-29 in a very tough game against Kuwait few months ago( kuwait and korea are the best teams in asia in handball.. ).
-These results remind me how basketball glory days in lebanon have started... when sagesse won the asian championship and 2 years later our NT qualified for the first time to the WC and now we have avery strong NT and we are the best in asia :P ... its gd two have another gd team in sports on a high level in handball, like we have in basketball.. we should not forget that we have a very gd team in rugby which also reached the WC and have gd results ...

-Lebanon have a good team and we have a chance to qualify to the Wc for the first time in our history NSHALLA
-On Wednesday we will play against iran in the 1sr round, iran is one of the strongest teams in asia, but we can beat them
-By this win against jordan, Lebanon qualified to the 2nd round and if we win against iran we will qualify as leaders for our group which will help us to have an easier group in the 2nd round GD LUCK LEBANON
-12 teams are playing in this tournament, the 12 teams are divided into 4 groups, the first and the second of each group will qualify to second round!! the 8 teams in 2nd round will be divided into two groups according to their position in 1st round!! and the 1st and 2nd of each group will qualify to the semi-final.. the first 3 teams will qualify to the Wc!!
-Korea,iran, saudi arabia are the strongest teams in this tournament!! japan, china and syria are also gd teams!!
