  • Another Lebanese Success

Though this is a Basketball Forum, i wanted to point out at another Lebanese (Forgotten) success in the world of Sports.
Youssef Mohammad, former soccer player of Safa who was playing in Germany for quite a bit, has been selected the Captain of FC Koln, the team that competes in the German Bundesliga.
With a team that has players in the caliber of (Mondragon, Maniche & Podolski) it was really amazing to see our Lebanese player holding the Captain Sign and still holding it .
The Fed, on the other side is still banning him from Playing with the NT for (as they said behavior reasons)....!!! No wonder, a player gets banned in Lebanon and is a Captain in Germany! Sad indeed.

In January 2010, Mohamad was named captain of 1. FC Köln, and became the first Asian and Middle-Eastern Captain in the Bundesliga.
In January 2010, Zvonimir Soldo announced Mohamad as the captain of the club.

i wanted to post an article about it and i totally forgot.
Youssef is a great player and definitely representing Lebanon the best way it could be.I'm proud that despite everything negative around the Lebanese football,we still have someone like Youssef.
Abt the Lebanese football federation, one word is enough " Shame".Those guys are bunch of corrupt people who'd just care about their political background!

      way to go Dodo!

Good news for Dodo, it's really sad and stupid that he don't play for the NT.
I might be the first one to criticize the Basketball Federation, but hell we are lucky not to have a federation like in Football or other sports

Dodo is a fantastic player, one of the best in the history of Lebanese football, I just hope that he really forgot about his ego as he expressed many times, and I wish that we can benefit from such a talent and experience with the NT and for youth players before it's too late.
