    anybody been there ?

I was there and I saw lots of foreign people, esp east europeans and lebanese (some of them opened a lebanese flag) I thought maybe some of them came also for the eurobasket ?

regarding the concert, well it was cool, after all u2 is one of the most prominent live bands around. but the organisation, the stadium ... was terrible (sorry if you endured that pain )

Team USA's Tyson Chandler is a big U2 fan and idolizes Bono. I read from his twitter that he "missed out" the concert due to practice.

I met with alot of Lebanese (many of them ladies ) in Istanbul who I thought like me were going to watch the World Championship games in Sinan Erdem Arena

I was wrong! They were in Istanbul just to watch the U2 concert (and do some sight seeing)
