Britt Griner finally dunked in Baylor's easy win over Florida (76-57) in the second leg of NCAA Tournament.

She's just the second woman to dunk in NCAA tournament games, after Candace Parker in 2006.

In another tournament game, Delaware was upset by Kansas 70-64, despite 34 pts by Nation's leading scorer Elena Delle Donne (she had poured 39 in the first game).

The final will be Baylor vs Notre Dame. Lady Bears are unbeaten (39-0) this year and prevailed over Stanford in a hard defensive game despite 22 points by Nnemkadi Ogwumike, who will likely be the #1 pick in the next WNBA draft. Notre Dame overcame UConn in OT, in a tough great game, which saw just 13 players overall on the court (7 for the Huskies and 6 from the Fighting Irish).

Baylor's Britt Griner is the winner of the Naismith Trophy for the college player of the year, beating finalists Elena Delle Donne, Skylar Diggins and Nnemkadi Ogwumike.

These four players have really performed above many other high-level college players and have another season left to play in the NCAA, except Ogwumike. Quite interesting, they all are skilled in different roles, internationally have already made experience with US teams and could represent the future of the seniors NT.

Baylor is the 2011-12 national champion having defeated Notre Dame 80-61 in the final game, behind 26 pts, 13 reb and 5 blocks by Britt Griner.
Lady Bears made history as the first undefeated champion team having reached a 40-0 record.

Prior to the final game both Griner and Notre Dame's Skylar Diggins denied they would enter the incoming WNBA drafts, and confirmed they will complete their college career next season.

2012 HS Player of the Year Breanna Stewart scored 21 pts on 8/11 shooting + 5 reb and 4 stl in her NCAA debut with UConn.
Other prized Huskies freshmen Morgan Tuck and Moriah Jefferson had 15 pts (+6 reb & 4 ast) and 4 pts + 5 ast.

Baylor's 42-game winning streak was surprisingly stopped by Stanford 71-69 at the Rainbow Wahine tournament in Hawaii.
Lady Bears played most of the game without their All-Am guard Odyssey Sims who injured her harmstring.
