While DeShields' transfer reasons and future destination are still unclear, another top freshman, Spain's Leticia Romero, requested to leave Kansas State for reasons related to coaching staff changes.
But in her case, Romero was denied the release, making her future uncertain.

Top Juco player, post Adut Bulgak (1.93/6-4) from Canada has been signed by Florida State.
Originally from Sudan, Bulgak started HS in Canada and ended it in South Carolina. A UNC commit for 2012-13 season, she was academically ineligible and landed at Trinity Valley CC, TX for two years, where she ended her soph year winning the NJCAA national title and earning PoY honor.

Harvard's incoming senior Temi Fagbenle starred for Great Britain NT in two exhibition games won over host Italy, in preparation for the 2015 Eurobasket qualifiers.
The 1.94m center topped all scorers with 22 and 20 points.

2014 Freshman of the Year Diamond DeShields chose Tenneessee after leaving UNC.

She will have to sit out the 2014-15 season as per NCAA transfer rules and is expected to join future teammate Te'a Cooper, one of the 2015 class top prospects.

Incoming senior Ariya Crook dismissed from USC due to a violation of team and university policy.
The announcement was made by USC head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke.
Crook, a 3-pt specialist, was USC leading scorer as a junior with 15.8ppg.

Kia Nurse will start playing for UConn next fall but she's already an established member of Canadian NT.
She met four former UConn stars and future teammate Breanna Stewart at a recent friendly opposing US and Canadian NTs in Bridgeport.
