LITHUANIA – The ministries of Sports and Health obtained an authorization for the Lithuanian delegation to disembark in Brazil to participate in the XV Women’s World Basketball Championship. The team is in the French Guyana waiting for a chartered flight so that it can get to São Paulo on time for its first game on Tuesday at 17:30h, against Australia.

Moterų rinktinė į pasaulio pirmenybes turėtų suspėti


Lietuvos moterų krepšinio rinktinė tris paras praleidusi nežinioje turėtų spėti į antradienį Brazilijoje prasidedantį pasaulio čempionatą. Brazilijos sveikatos ministerija LKF generalinį sekretorių Saulių Samulevičių patikino, kad leidimas Lietuvos rinktinei įvažiuoti į Braziliją yra duotas.

Antradienį 17 val. Lietuvos laiku iš Brazilijos miesto Belemo pakilęs lėktuvas išskrido į Prancūzijos Gvianos administracinį centrą Kajeną. Iš šio miesto Lietuvos rinktinės žaidėjos bus nuskraidintos į Belemą.

Iš Belemo Lietuvos rinktinė 22 val. 30 min. Lietuvos laiku turėtų išvykti į Brazilijos sostinę Braziliją, o iš pastarosios trečiadienį 02 val. 15 minučių Lietuvos laiku - į San Paulą.

Jeigu viskas vyks sklandžiai, Lietuvos krepšininkės San Paulą turėtų pasiekti trečiadienį 04 val. 14 min. Lietuvos laiku.

Antrąsias pasaulio čempionato rungtynes Lietuvos rinktinė trečiadienį 23 val. 30 min. Lietuvos laiku turėtų žaisti su Kanados krepšininkėmis. Jeigu kelionėje vis dėlto atsirastų nesklandumų ir į šį mačą Lietuvos rinktinės žaidėjos nespėtų, pasaulio pirmenybės joms pasibaigtų net neprasidėjusios.

Prieš pasaulio moterų čempionatą Pietų Amerikos žemyno šiaurėje esančioje Martinikos saloje savaitę besitreniravusios Lietuvos krepšininkės šeštadienį turėjo skristi į Belemą, tačiau "Carribean Air" avialinijų bendrovė atšaukė planuotą skrydį ir Lietuvos rinktinę įsodino į lėktuvą, nusileidusį Prancūzijos Gvianoje.

Tuo tarpu visi asmenys iš šios šalies keliaujantys į Braziliją privalo pasiskiepyti nuo Geltonojo drugio epidemijos. Neturinčių vakcinos Brazilija neįsileidžia.
