John Wall has definitely looked like the truth in the last couple of games vs powerhouses North Carolina & Connecticut. He's got some of that Wade/Rose explosion when he goes to the hoop.

Scored a career high 29 points, 9 steals and had 13 assists as the Washington Wizards won a narrow game against the Philadelphia 76ers 116-115.

        Wall had 8 turnovers though.

And 9 steals!!! He was a near quadruple double if you count the turnovers.

Wall is exciting to watch and I am very impressed with his passing abilities. He shows good maturity overall for a point guard his age. Still, with that incredible speed he sometimes tends to go too fast and turn the ball over too often. His shot selection could be better too, but I believe he will improve in both of these aspects as he gets older.

One final point on him- I also like the fact that he isn't afraid of taking big shots, he did so in his one year of college a number of times. That quality seems to be inherent to only a select few players

I look for Wall to trim down his turnovers and the fact that he is taking lessons from Heinrich and Cassell bodes well for him. Also, I look for him to improve his jumpshot as well as decision making in terms of being a point guard where when to call the right play, when to take the shot and when is the right time to pass.

Overall, sky is the limit for this guy.

John Wall is a stud. I hope he never gets injured, and plays to a ripe old age.
