Vasquez will have trouble scoring in the NBA. He does not have a reliable jump shot and he is only moderately athletic. I think he will be able to get by though because he can get in the lane and finish with crafty runners. He also almost exclusively goes to his right so he needs to work on that too. Good passer and ball handler but what position will he play in the NBA? He's going to get torched by NBA 1's and I don't think his shot is good enough to play the 2.

The main problem with Vasquez (and Calathes) is speed. On offense and defense. Their skills are not the issue, and their passing skills are great, but the lack of quickness is going to be hard for either to overcome.

With Calathes, he can be successful because he is a smarter player, and Vasquez can be moderately successful because of his passion and aggression.
