Anyone else notice NBA TV's repetitive coverage of the Euroleague this season? So every Saturday they show one Euroleague game from the week's round of games. It's pretty cool because I can switch back and forth from NCAA College Football to a Euroleague game. We are now 4 weeks into the season, and NBATV has only featured one team. You guessed it, Barcelona. Now I understand that they want to hype up the youngster, but honestly Rubio is not that good to be passing up better Euroleague matchups just so they can show a couple flashy passes. And it's not like they are broadcasting these games live, they can look at the results from Wed/Thurs and select the best game. They had a chance to show Real vs Pao last week, yet showed Barcelona for the 3rd straight week, now they are showing Barcelona vs Asvel
, it's ridiculous because they switched the teams up last year.
Anyways they are showing Portland vs Charlotte tonight at 7pm . I warned about Greg Oden before the season, and he is performing very well right now. He's averaging about 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks in only 23 mpg. He's a beast, last Friday he outplayed Tim Duncan (showed a nice array of throwback hook shots, dominated on defense) If he can avoid fouls and stay on the floor, he's a top 5 NBA center.
Some highlights of Oden from earlier this week against Memphis (Gasol, Randolf, Hamed Haddadi)
