I noticed that Oberto keeps having double digit +/-'s in very limited playing time as a starter, and while not contributing much in the usual boxscore categories. Like Rasho a while back.

Ps: I noticed there is a bit of a drama around two [very good, imo] articles by the Truehoop blogger on Kevin Durant influence on his team, which statistically wasn't a positive one. The reactions are hilarious.

Well, for two games in a row It looks like he will be in the starting lineup to begin the season. He wasn't a good +/- guy with the Spurs even though his boxscore statistics were quite good.

Their defense is indeed much worse with him on the court. Although you have to take single-year +/- statistics with a large grain of salt since the fluctuations can be massive.

Also interesting that the Mavericks decided not to renew Wayne Winston's contract shortly after his long interview with TrueHoop.
